McMillan Fountain, Bronze fountain at McMillan Reservoir, United States

The fountain features a central bronze sculpture group called The Three Graces standing on a pink granite octagonal basin near the McMillan Reservoir.

American sculptor Herbert Adams completed the McMillan Fountain in 1912, and it was dedicated in 1919 after receiving funding from Michigan citizens and Congress.

The Three Graces figures in the fountain represent honor, generosity, and virtue, reflecting the values associated with Senator James McMillan's contributions to Washington.

The fountain maintained a constant water supply throughout the year, providing water access for residents of the Bloomingdale neighborhood until its dismantlement in 1941.

Michigan schoolchildren contributed small coin donations to raise $25,000 for the fountain's construction, demonstrating widespread public support for the memorial.
