Hampton Beach State Park

Hampton Beach State Park is a coastal park with several miles of soft white sand stretching along the Atlantic Ocean. The grounds feature designated swimming zones, wide paths for walking near the water, and visitor facilities throughout.

This coastal area became a gathering place for ocean visitors long before it received official park status. A memorial on the grounds honors military personnel who died at sea during armed conflicts.

An amphitheater venue on the grounds hosts free concerts and performances throughout the summer season. These outdoor events bring crowds together and shape how people gather and spend time during warm months.

Cars can be parked at designated spots along Ocean Boulevard throughout the park. Bathhouses with shower facilities are open seasonally from May through September, making it easy to freshen up after swimming.

Horseback riding on the sand is allowed from October through April in certain sections, giving visitors an unusual way to experience the beach. The South Beach area has its own parking for people interested in this seasonal activity.
