Lake Ellyn Park

Lake Ellyn Park is a public park in Glen Ellyn centered around a natural lake with walking paths looping around the water. Fishing spots, picnic areas, and open spaces for recreation are distributed throughout the grounds.

The site started as a drinking water reservoir in the early 1900s before being converted into a public recreational area. This change allowed the expanding suburban community to have a dedicated gathering place.
