The Hoangho-Paiho Museum of Natural History

The Hoangho-Paiho Museum of Natural History is a natural history museum in Tianjin that presents rocks, fossils, and biological objects from northern China. The collection spans three floors and shows Earth's geological development through original specimens.

A French Jesuit founded the museum in 1914 and gathered scientific objects during extensive expeditions in the river basins. This early exploration work created the foundation for one of China's largest fossil collections.
