Zhang Garden, Former imperial residence in Heping District, Tianjin, China

Zhang Garden features a three-layered courtyard design with Spanish-style brick-wood structures and 21 rooms displaying royal furnishings throughout the complex.

The site began as a mansion built in 1916 by Zhang Biao, a Qing Dynasty official, and later became the residence of Puyi, the last Emperor of China.

The garden represents the architectural fusion of Chinese and European styles during the early 20th century, reflecting Tianjin's foreign concession period.

The garden opens Tuesday through Sunday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, with multiple transportation options from Tianjin Railway Station.

The property includes four preserved bungalows that were specifically constructed to accommodate the entourage of the last Emperor during his residence.
