Hasselbrack, Summit and mountain in Neugraben-Fischbek, Germany
Hasselbrack is a summit in Neugraben-Fischbek located within the Rosengarten State Forest, rising 116.2 meters above sea level. Forest trails wind through the Black Hills to reach the peak, where a stone obelisk marks the exact location.
A wooden summit cross was erected here in 2011, which was later replaced by a permanent stone obelisk during a ceremony in 2013. This new marker has since become a recognizable landmark for the area.
The Hasselbrack summit represents the highest geographical point in Hamburg, serving as a reference point for local mapping and navigation systems.
The summit is easily accessible via forest paths starting from Neugraben-Fischbek for visitors of different fitness levels. The trails are well-maintained and suitable for a half-day walk or leisure hike.
This is Hamburg's highest point and sits at the border where three distinct regions meet. Its location makes it a natural geographic reference for the surrounding communities.
