Ofterschwanger Horn

Ofterschwanger Horn is a mountain summit in the Allgäu region of Bavaria that reaches 1,406 meters in elevation. It marks the northern edge of the Hörnergruppe range and provides wide views across the surrounding alpine landscape.

The summit has served as a landmark for local communities navigating the Allgäu Alps region for many generations. Its position made it a natural point of reference in the mountain landscape.

The mountain stands as a central point in Bavarian outdoor traditions, where locals gather for seasonal festivals and mountain sports throughout the year.

The Weltcup-Express chairlift carries visitors to the top in about six minutes, making the ascent accessible without strenuous hiking. The system is designed to accommodate people with mobility aids when staff assistance is available.

The summit features a Frisbee golf course where players throw discs into baskets while navigating around natural obstacles. This was the first such course to open in the Allgäu area.
