Erfurter Weihnachtsmarkt

The Erfurter Weihnachtsmarkt is a Christmas festival in the old town of Erfurt with numerous stalls, rides, and decorations spread throughout the area. The market occupies several squares and streets in the historic center of the city.

This market began in medieval times and is one of the oldest Christmas markets in German-speaking lands. Its tradition dates back to when merchants sold their goods in this trading city.
