Erlebnispark Ziegenhagen

Erlebnispark Ziegenhagen is an amusement park with about 30 attractions spread across different zones for various age groups. The offerings range from a cable car and carousels to water rides and a Ferris wheel, with many facilities designed to be wheelchair accessible.

The park was founded in 1967 on a former farmstead as a zoo and later evolved into a fairy tale themed space. This transformation helped it stand out from the nearby Sababurg Zoo and develop its own identity.

The park blends entertainment with regional traditions through its electronic bird show and fairy tale setting. Visitors experience how this place brings stories and nature together in a hands-on way.

The park sits near the A7 motorway exit at Hedemünden, making it straightforward to reach by car. On-site, you will find free barbecue huts available for reservation and a self-service restaurant called Hexenküche for meals throughout your visit.

During Halloween season, guests arriving in costumes receive a 50 percent discount on entry fees. They also get to enter photo contests for the chance to win free season passes.
