Domkapitel Halberstadt

The Domkapitel Halberstadt is the cathedral chapter community based in a Gothic cathedral built between 1236 and 1491. The building contains approximately 290 stained-glass window scenes and features medieval furnishings that define its interior character.

This religious community traces its origins to the 9th century, when the Diocese of Halberstadt was established under Charlemagne's influence. During the Middle Ages, the location developed into an important spiritual center for the region.
