Piraten in Batavia

The indoor water attraction features 18 boats traveling through scenes of colonial Indonesia with 100 animated figures and elaborate special effects.

Following a destructive fire in May 2018 that demolished the original 1987 attraction, the ride reopened in July 2020 with enhanced technology.

The attraction presents the Dutch colonial period in Indonesia during 1619, showcasing the historical interactions between pirates, colonists, and local inhabitants.

Each boat accommodates 16 passengers, operating at 2.9 kilometers per hour for an 8-minute journey across 400 meters of waterway.

The ride incorporates 300 loudspeakers and 700 spotlights integrated into the scenery, creating an immersive environment across 7,000 square meters.
