The wooden steam frigate Jylland measures 71 meters in length and stands as a maritime museum displaying naval technology from the 1860s.

The Danish Navy commissioned this wooden warship in November 1860, making it the last wooden vessel in their fleet before steel ships emerged.

The vessel received the World Ship Trust Maritime Heritage Award in 1985 for preserving Danish naval traditions and maritime engineering methods.

Visitors can explore restored crew quarters, officers' mess, and navigation equipment through guided tours available in multiple languages throughout the day.

Children participate in naval simulations aboard the vessel, operating cannons and learning traditional rope-making techniques from period-dressed instructors.
