Gouraya National Park

Gouraya National Park is a protected area along the Mediterranean coast near Béjaïa, combining forests, mountains, and marine zones. The landscape shifts between forested hillsides and rocky shores, with trails that wind through different terrain.

The area was placed under protection in 1984 to preserve the natural diversity along this Mediterranean coast. This decision recognized that this location with its special habitats needed safeguarding.
