Sølyst, Event venue in Klampenborg, Denmark
The elegant Sølyst building stands near the Øresund coast, featuring classical architectural elements and spacious rooms for various gatherings and celebrations.
Built in 1760 by Just Fabritius, the property replaced an earlier half-timbered structure that belonged to merchant Julius Frøichen named Zeelust.
Ernst Heinrich von Schimmelmann and his wife Charlotte established the venue as a center for artistic activities during the late 18th century.
The current Royal Copenhagen Shooting Society manages the venue, accommodating events for groups ranging from 20 to 180 participants.
The Emiliekilde monument, created by Nikolaj Abraham Abildgaard, stands near a spring as a memorial to Schimmelmann's first wife.
