The Collegiate of San Miguel is a church with Gothic architecture featuring three naves covered by stellar vaults and an octagonal main chapel with pointed arches. The tower rises above the town in seven tiers with buttresses supporting its height and structure.
Construction of the church began in the 12th century as a modest sanctuary and underwent several phases of expansion. A major transformation occurred in 1607 when a collegiate institution was relocated here by the Duke of Lerma.
