Cala Tirant

Cala Tirant is a sandy beach in Es Mercadal featuring two separate sections divided by a rocky outcrop with wooden stairs connecting them. The water is shallow and slopes gradually, making it suitable for swimming and families.

This location was once a quiet coastal spot before tourism expanded across the region. It has retained some of its original character as a local swimming destination despite modern changes.

Parking spaces are available near the beach with easy access via the local road ME-7. The beach is straightforward to reach and offers good conditions for a half-day or full-day visit.

Behind the beach lies a wetland where various bird species live and nest year-round. Birdwatchers can spot uncommon species here, especially during migration seasons.
