Meandro de Ranillas

The Ranillas meander is a natural curve of the Ebro River that creates a large plain on the left bank of the waterway. Three bridges connect both sides of the river at this location, allowing different ways to cross and explore the area.

The area came into focus in 2008 when Zaragoza's city council selected it as the venue for an international exposition on water and sustainable development. This event helped establish the meander as an important part of the city.

The meander hosts a water park that offers outdoor activities, sports facilities, and recreational spaces regularly used by locals and visitors. These spaces shape how people in Zaragoza spend their leisure time throughout the year.
