Pabellón de Aragón en la Expo 2008, National pavilion at Expo 2008, Zaragoza, Spain.

Pabellón de Aragón en la Expo 2008 is a building with a suspended wicker basket design supported by three large pillars, measuring approximately 50 by 50 meters. It was divided into two levels with exhibition spaces, offices, and a viewing terrace.

It was built in 2008 as part of the International Exposition in Zaragoza, which focused on water and sustainable development. It was one of several regional pavilions presenting Aragon's offerings to the international community during that event.

The pavilion presented films and images showcasing Aragonese traditions and regional life during the exposition. Visitors could experience the culture and identity of the region through audiovisual displays.

The interior is easily accessible with two levels to explore, featuring exhibition areas and a viewing terrace on the upper level. It is worth allowing enough time to visit both floors and enjoy the views from above.

The facade uses micro-concrete and glass panels in a basket weave pattern, an unusual construction method that required special testing. This innovative design was groundbreaking when built and demanded unique engineering solutions.
