Playa Nord de Gandía is a three-kilometer urban beach with golden sand roughly 80 meters wide that faces the Mediterranean Sea. The shoreline has a gentle slope making it accessible for different skill levels and ages.
The beach remained largely undeveloped until the 1950s when a major hotel was built near a historic Moorish fortification. This construction marked the beginning of the area's growth as a seaside resort.
The Paseo Marítimo Neptuno promenade serves as a gathering space where locals and visitors participate in morning fitness activities, live performances, and outdoor film screenings throughout the warmer months.
