The Court House, Grade II* listed building in Morpeth, England
The Court House features a castellated Gothic architectural style with a massive square front block, square side towers, and an octagonal apsidal structure.
Built in 1822 as part of a larger prison complex, the Court House served as a Magistrates Court and County Court until its closure in 1980.
Local architect John Dobson designed the Court House along with more than 150 other structures that shaped the architectural landscape of Northeast England.
The Court House, now converted into residential units, stands next to Carlisle Park with parking facilities available within walking distance.
Following its judicial role, the building transformed through various functions, including a nightclub and a women-only health club, before becoming luxury apartments.
