Vera is a settlement in Trpinja Municipality located in the northeastern part of Vukovar-Srijem County. The village spreads across agricultural land near the Vuka River and forms part of the wider rural landscape of the region.
The village first appeared in records around 1400 and remained under Ottoman rule until 1687. After that period, it became part of the Vukovar estate controlled by the Kuffstein family.
The Elementary School Bobota branch in Vera offers education in Serbian language, maintaining a continuous educational presence since its establishment in 1789.
The settlement is accessible by local roads and sits within a farming-focused area. Larger services and facilities can be found in the main towns of the region nearby.
Vera stands at the lowest elevation among villages north of the Vuka River and connects to the Bobota Canal, transforming former Palača Swamplands into farmland.
