Manjarabad Fort

Manjarabad Fort is a star-shaped fortification in Hassan district with eight distinctive points radiating outward from an elevated location. The structure features thick granite construction throughout, with various chambers positioned along the ramparts for defense.

The fort was built in 1792 as a defensive stronghold during conflict with British forces, reflecting the advanced military engineering techniques of that era. Its construction marked an important moment in the region's struggle to maintain independence.
