Located in central Matera, the museum welcomes visitors Monday afternoons from 2 PM to 8 PM and Tuesday through Sunday from 9 AM to 8 PM.
The museum recorded substantial visitor fluctuations, from 50,342 people in 2019 to 5,914 in 2020, reflecting the impact of external circumstances on cultural institutions.
