The Fukushima City Concert Hall contains a 1,000-seat main auditorium with excellent acoustics and a smaller 200-seat multipurpose performance space.
The construction of this musical facility was completed in 1984, representing an investment of 3,700 million yen and covering 6,023 square meters.
The main auditorium features a 41-stop Marcussen organ and hosts performances by local, national, and international musicians throughout the year.
Visitors can reach the concert hall from Fukushima Station by taking buses from East Exit stops 2 or 3 to Nisseki-mae, followed by a 5-minute walk.
The building's architecture, developed by Okada & Associates with acoustic design by Nagata Acoustics, follows a shoebox style configuration for sound optimization.
