Ogata Fuji is an artificial hill located in the Ogata area of Akita prefecture, constructed on reclaimed land at sea level. Stairs run along its sides to provide access to the summit.

The artificial hill was created on June 3, 1995, as part of a land development project in the former Hachirōgata Lagoon area. Its creation marked the transformation of what was once a wetland landscape.
