円蔵寺, Buddhist temple in Yanaizu, Japan

The Enzoji Temple complex contains multiple buildings, including a main hall and a thatched-roof temple near the confluence of the Tadami and Ginzan Rivers.

The temple was founded in 807 by monk Tokuitsu Daishi, who brought a wooden statue of Kokuzo Bosatsu carved from a sacred tree according to traditional accounts.

The temple preserves traditional Japanese ceremonies throughout the year, including the Seven Days Hall ritual in January and the Dragon Authority Festival in October.

Religious ceremonies take place six times daily at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, and 15:00, with registration required 15 minutes before each session.

Local artisans create miniature religious figures from walnut and sesame wood, continuing a tradition of detailed carving techniques specific to this region.
