就実の丘, Rolling hill area in Asahikawa, Japan

Shujitsu Hill rises above the Asahigawa landscape, offering views of the Daisetsuzan mountain range and the surrounding agricultural plains extending toward the horizon.

The hill area gained recognition in recent years after being featured in local magazines, transforming from an undiscovered location into a frequented photography destination.

The hill served as a filming location for the 2013 television drama series Galileo, which showcased the winding roads leading to this elevated viewpoint.

The area remains accessible 24 hours daily throughout the year, though visitors should exercise caution due to reported brown bear activity in the vicinity.

During sunset, the Daisetsuzan and Tokachi mountain ranges display red hues, sometimes creating sun pillar phenomena through atmospheric optical effects.
