Aoyama M's Tower, Mixed-use skyscraper in Minami Aoyama, Japan

Aoyama M's Tower is an L-shaped skyscraper comprising a 25-story high-rise tower and a separate low-rise section rising to 94 meters overall. The complex houses a hotel in its upper floors, residential apartments with kitchenettes in its middle sections, and shopping spaces with retail outlets throughout its lower levels.

The tower was completed in March 2008 on the site of the former Aoyama Metro Building that previously occupied the location in Tokyo's Minato district. Its construction marked a modernization of the area and introduced new mixed-use spaces for commerce, residence, and hospitality to the neighborhood.

The Passage Aoyama shopping center in the lower levels reflects the modern retail culture of the neighborhood, offering shops and restaurants to visitors. The passage creates a public walkway that connects different parts of the area and is used by both locals and passersby throughout the day.

The complex offers 170 hotel rooms on floors 13 through 25 for visitors staying overnight, and 50 residential apartments on floors 3 through 12. The lower levels provide shopping and dining options, making it easy to navigate through the building and access different services in one location.

The building's L-shaped design connects two distinct structures: a tall tower section and a separate lower building section that function as a single complex. This unusual configuration allows multiple functions to coexist in a compact footprint while creating interesting visual contrasts as visitors walk around the property.
