Higashihiroshima City Museum of Art

The Higashihiroshima City Museum of Art exhibits a collection of modern and contemporary prints, which make up 70 percent of its total artworks.

The museum began its operations in January 1979 and officially opened its doors to the public in June of the same year in Higashihiroshima.

The institution maintains a regular schedule of exhibitions that introduce Japanese artists and their works through special displays and informative lectures.

Located ten minutes from JR Saijo Station, the museum operates from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and offers free parking for up to two hours.

The museum relocated to a new building in November 2020 near Saijo Sake Brewery Street, establishing a dedicated space for permanent collection displays.
