The four-story museum contains over 200 interactive exhibits focused on space exploration, energy, and fundamental scientific principles through hands-on experimentation.

The Takenaka Corporation designed this educational facility, which opened its doors to the public on October 7, 1989 to promote scientific understanding.

The museum serves as an educational center where students and families participate in regular workshops, science shows, and planetarium presentations throughout the year.

Located near Higobashi Station, the museum operates from Tuesday through Sunday between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM, with separate admission fees for exhibits and planetarium shows.

The facility features one of the largest planetarium domes in the world, projecting astronomical phenomena with exceptional accuracy through advanced projection technology.
