Todoroki Ryokuchi

Todoroki Ryokuchi is an urban park in Kawasaki that contains sports facilities including an athletics stadium, gymnasium, baseball field, swimming pool, and tennis courts. These different areas are open to the public and provide opportunities for various sports and activities.

The park began as a public green space in Kawasaki and underwent a major redevelopment in 2023 through a project led by ORIX Corporation. This renovation followed a tender process organized by Kawasaki City and marked a significant turning point in its history.

The Niku Matsuri festival takes place yearly from April to May, bringing together residents and visitors who want to taste traditional meat dishes and local specialties. People gather here to experience regional cooking styles and meet neighbors from the surrounding community.

The park is accessible by a 20-minute walk from Musashi-Nakahara Station or by bus from Musashi-Kosugi Station. The various sports facilities operate under different schedules and rules, so it is helpful to check ahead before planning a visit.

The park serves as the home ground for professional football club Kawasaki Frontale, which plays regular matches in the athletics stadium. This makes it an important destination for local sports fans and creates a dynamic atmosphere on match days.
