Gifu Collection of Modern Arts

The Gifu Collection of Modern Arts contains 800 permanent art pieces, including paintings, sculptures, and crafts from Japanese and international artists.

The museum building was constructed in 1992 on the former Seki Garden Factory grounds of Nabeya Bi-Tech Kaisha and received the Nikkei New Office Award.

The museum exhibits works by French Symbolist painter Odilon Redon alongside pieces from regional Japanese artists, representing global and local artistic perspectives.

The museum opens from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with entry fees of 500 yen for the Toko Gallery and free admission to the Taichi Hall.

The building integrates a cascade and pool within its entrance design, connecting the structure with the surrounding natural environment.
