技の館, Interactive art museum in Osaka, Japan
The museum creates digital art experiences where visitors walk through immersive installations of classical paintings transformed into three-dimensional spaces.
The facility opened in 2024 as part of Osaka's initiative to integrate traditional art appreciation methods with modern digital presentation techniques.
Through technology-enhanced exhibitions, the museum presents both European masterpieces and Japanese artworks in ways that connect different artistic traditions.
Located near Dojima River Forum, the museum operates daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with last entry at 7:00 PM.
Visitors can physically step into recreated versions of paintings, including Van Gogh's works, through specialized projection mapping and motion sensors.
