琴滝, Natural waterfall in Miyazu, Japan

Kanabiki Waterfall flows continuously throughout the year, with water cascading down from multiple levels through dense forest vegetation in Kyoto Prefecture.

The waterfall earned its designation as one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls in 1990, marking its importance within the natural heritage of the region.

A small shrine dedicated to Jizoson stands near the waterfall, where visitors participate in traditional water purification rituals throughout the year.

The waterfall requires a 100 yen entrance fee and visitors can park at the Roadside Station Umi-no-Kyoto Miyazu before walking or cycling to the site.

The morning sun creates natural rainbow effects through the water mist, while the sound of falling water echoes through the surrounding maple and linden trees.
