The Kasado Bridge extends 476.2 meters across Kasado Bay, connecting Kudamatsu City with Kasado Island through a steel langer truss structure painted in red.
Completed in 1970, the bridge brought significant improvements to Kasado Island by enabling water supply infrastructure and supporting the development of local industries.
The bridge serves as a central symbol of Kudamatsu City, representing the connection between mainland communities and the maritime traditions of Kasado Island.
Visitors can reach the bridge within 5 minutes by bus from Kudamatsu Station, with dedicated pedestrian paths of 0.75 meters on both sides of the 6-meter roadway.
The bridge combines three distinct engineering elements: a steel langer truss section, prestressed concrete T-girders, and a maximum span length of 155.2 meters.
