Joshibi University of Art and Design Art Museum

The Joshibi University of Art and Design Art Museum contains two exhibition spaces: the Joshibi Art Museum and Joshibi Galleria Nike on campus grounds.

The museum collection expanded substantially in 2009 when it acquired parts of the former Kanebo Collection, bringing its total holdings to approximately 15,000 items.

The museum maintains one of Japan's most extensive textile collections, representing various cultural periods and styles through historical and modern pieces.

Visitors can access the museum via a 20-minute bus ride from Sagami-Ono Station, with operating hours from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Sundays and holidays.

The museum's collection policy focuses on works by university graduates, including artists such as Okubo Fukuko, Kataoka Tamako, and Migishi Setsuko.
