Zama Yatoyama Park

Zama Yatoyama Park is a large green space with walking trails, open grassy areas, and a pond surrounded by natural vegetation. The park includes demonstration rice fields where visitors can see how traditional farming methods work.

The park was established in 1993 as a green space project for the Kanagawa region. It was created to provide residents with access to nature and outdoor recreation.

The rice fields show visitors how farming connects to the local environment and seasons. People use the park to experience how agriculture shapes the landscape around them.

The park is free to enter and open 24 hours a day, located within walking distance of Zama Station. The trails are easy to navigate and the park works well for visitors of all ability levels.

A visitor center on-site rents out binoculars for anyone interested in watching birds. The park is known for hosting many different bird species that can be observed throughout the year.
