海老名Prime Tower, Mixed-use skyscraper in Ebina, Japan
Ebina Prime Tower is a 26-floor high-rise in Ebina, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, built with reinforced concrete construction. The building houses shopping areas, offices, and a hotel, all in a single structure with basement levels below ground.
The tower was completed in September 1995, during a period when Ebina was actively developing its city center around the station. It was one of the first large mixed-use buildings in this part of Kanagawa, and it helped shape how the area grew afterward.
The tower stands right next to Ebina Station, where three railway lines meet, making it a natural meeting point for commuters and shoppers from across the region. The lower floors hold shops and restaurants that locals use on a daily basis.
The tower is located right next to Ebina Station, served by the Odakyu, Sotetsu, and JR Sagami lines, so it is easy to reach on foot from the platform. For those arriving by car, the building has a parking facility on site.
The building uses an RC Core Wall System that reinforces the structure against earthquakes while keeping the floor layouts open and usable. Part of the parking area works with automated mechanisms that move cars mechanically, so drivers do not need to maneuver into tight spaces.
