Keisuke Kinoshita Memorial Museum, Cinema history museum in Naka-ku, Japan

The museum features two exhibition rooms showcasing film posters, awards, and a replica of director Keisuke Kinoshita's personal study from his Azabu apartment.

The building, constructed in 1930, survived the 1945 bombings and became property of Hamamatsu City in 2004 before opening as a museum in 2001.

The museum preserves the legacy of filmmaker Keisuke Kinoshita, who directed 49 films including Japan's first color film, Carmen Comes Home, in 1951.

Monthly film screenings take place in the second-floor Art Hall, where visitors can experience classic Japanese cinema and Kinoshita's notable works.

The museum displays original scripts, trophies, and personal items from the director's career, offering direct connections to Japanese cinema's golden age.
