Hamamatsu Air Park

The Air Self-Defense Force facility exhibits numerous aircraft, including fighter jets, transport planes, and helicopters across multiple display hangars.

The facility opened on April 1, 1999, as Japan's first Air Self-Defense Force theme park to demonstrate military aviation capabilities to the public.

The Exhibition Hangar presents the equipment and missions of Japan's Air Self-Defense Force, highlighting its role in national defense and rescue operations.

Visitors can access the museum via a 30-minute bus ride from Hamamatsu Station, with free admission and parking available daily from 9:00 to 16:00.

The museum features a 360-degree theater screen that displays aviation operations and a third-floor flight simulator for hands-on experience.
