Kiyosu is a city located in Aichi Prefecture in the Chubu region of central Japan. It sits west of Nagoya and is connected by convenient public transportation links.

Kiyosu served as an important administrative center under Oda Nobunaga during the Azuchi-Momoyama period. The city later developed into a trading hub during the Edo period.
