大阪ひびきの街 ザ・サンクタスタワー, Residential tower in Shinmachi, Japan
The Sanctus Tower is a residential tower in the Shinmachi district of Osaka with 53 floors above ground and 874 apartments stacked to a height of about 190 meters. The building includes shared facilities designed for residents and was engineered to handle seismic activity common to the region.
Obayashi Corporation designed and completed this residential complex in March 2015. The project integrated advanced earthquake-resistant technologies to ensure structural stability throughout the building.
The tower features multiple community spaces on the 30th floor, including study rooms and viewing lounges where residents gather to appreciate panoramic views of Osaka.
The tower sits within walking distance of four subway lines and offers good access to public transportation for city living. The surrounding neighborhood contains shops and restaurants that serve daily needs for residents in the area.
The building uses a dual-frame system specifically designed to reduce structural movement during earthquakes. This engineering approach received recognition from Japanese societies focused on seismic safety.
