Ankara Park is a small park in the Yeoui-dong neighborhood of Seoul, South Korea. It has paved paths, benches, trees, and a traditional Turkish building called Ankara House on its grounds.
The park was created in 1971 to mark the sister city agreement between Seoul and Ankara, the capital of Turkey. That connection has shaped the park's character ever since.
The park is easy to reach by subway or bus, as several lines stop close to Yeoui-dong. A short visit is enough to walk through the paths and see Ankara House.
Ankara House inside the park reproduces a traditional Turkish vineyard building, furnished with original items such as silver-framed mirrors and festival costumes. Buildings of this type are rarely seen outside Turkey.
