Nemunoki-no-niwa Garden

Nemunoki-no-niwa Garden is an urban park in Higashi-Gotanda with pathways that wind through planted areas featuring seasonal flowers and trees. The garden includes seating zones arranged throughout and is designed to help visitors move easily while enjoying the vegetation.

The garden opened in August 2004 on the former grounds of the Shoda residence, transforming private property into a public recreational space. This conversion shows how private land in Tokyo can be adapted for community use.
