Tokyo World Gate, High-rise building in Kamiyacho, Japan
Tokyo World Gate is a 36-story skyscraper in the Minato district that rises 180 meters above the city. The building combines office spaces, a hotel, and medical facilities while opening onto public plazas and green areas for everyone to enjoy.
The building opened in March 2020 as part of a broader strategy to strengthen international business activity in Tokyo. It represents a shift in how the Minato district developed its role as a global business hub.
The building incorporates 5000 square meters of public green spaces, walking paths, and water terraces for community gatherings and leisure activities.
Kamiyacho Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line sits directly below the building for easy access. The public areas are readily accessible and open throughout the day for visitors to move through freely.
The EDITION hotel occupies floors 31 through 36 and marks the brand's first location in Japan. The property includes both traditional hotel rooms and service apartments for extended stays.
