Rzucewo Palace, Neo-Gothic palace in Rzucewo, Poland.
Rzucewo Palace is a red brick Neo-Gothic building perched on a cliff above Pucka Bay, built with two wings, a central tower, and a fortified corner tower. The structure takes advantage of its elevated position to offer impressive views over the water and surrounding coastline.
The palace was constructed in 1845 by architect Friedrich August Stueler for the von Below family, replacing an earlier manor house from the 16th century. This construction marked a shift from a medieval residence to a modern aristocratic seat.
The rooms inside reflect different design traditions, from Art Nouveau to classical elements, telling the story of its past occupants. Visitors can experience these various styles while walking through the rooms and hallways.
The palace now functions as a hotel with a restaurant, located just 100 meters from the beach. Visitors should know that the cliff location and proximity to water affect access routes and offer strong coastal winds.
The cliff coastline around the palace features an unusual forest growth where trees seem to rise from the water itself. This landscape formation creates a rare visual environment that visitors seldom encounter elsewhere.
