Severska Domna museum complex is a facility dedicated to iron processing and heavy industry in a historic factory. The collection includes a preserved blast furnace building from the 19th century with a distinctive dome, multiple exhibition halls with tools and machinery, and an outdoor area with historical equipment.

The works began iron production in 1739 and became a major center of Ural metallurgy. The preserved blast furnace building with its iconic dome dates from 1859 and stands as a record of that industrial period.

The complex showcases metalworking traditions of the Ural region through exhibitions displaying old tools and equipment from iron production. Visitors can see how craftspeople worked and what their daily practices looked like in the factory.

The site is open Tuesday through Saturday and guided tours through the buildings should be booked in advance. Wear sturdy shoes since the outdoor areas have gravel paths and the facility spans multiple levels.
