Дом-аквариум is a public aquarium facility in Chelyabinsk displaying a collection of aquatic animals and reptiles across multiple exhibition spaces. The building houses freshwater and marine fish in dedicated sections, along with terrariums containing various reptile species, and a ship cabin-themed display area.

The facility opened in 1983 and became the only aquarium of its kind in the region at that time. It was established in the Tishchenko Culture and Recreation Park and has developed into an important local institution.

The facility serves as a place where visitors engage directly with aquatic animals and reptiles, learning about their habitats through observation and hands-on interaction. Families and children come here to observe these creatures up close and develop a connection with the natural world.

Plan your visit with enough time to explore all exhibition areas and observe the displays at a comfortable pace. It is advisable to arrive earlier in the day when the facility is less crowded and the animals are more active.

The facility houses a collection of Japanese koi fish that visitors are able to hand-feed, creating a direct connection between people and animals. These fish were deliberately introduced to create an interactive experience that goes beyond simple observation.
