Citygate

The 144-meter-tall Citygate building features 36 floors of office space, restaurants, a cafe, co-working areas, and a bicycle storage facility.

Construction of Citygate commenced in 2019 on challenging ground conditions, requiring builders to work with deep layers of Gothenburg clay.

The Danish firm Henning Larsen Architects and Kanozi Arkitekter designed this structure, which became the tallest office building in Nordic countries in 2022.

Each floor provides up to 2,600 square meters of adaptable office space, with additional amenities including a gym, parking garage, and multiple dining options.

The building stands on foundations extending 60 meters deep into the ground, with construction teams advancing at a rate of one floor per week.
