Bergakungen

Bergakungen is a cinema complex in Gothenburg built into a rocky hillside, containing 14 separate theaters with a total capacity of around 2,260 seats. The facility offers different theater types including an IMAX auditorium and specialized screening rooms equipped with modern projection technology.

The complex was built between 2004 and 2006 and required extensive rock excavation from the hillside to create the underground structure. The construction approach was specially designed to fit this particular location within the city's natural landscape.
